Sara
Sara started blogging after she graduated college because she felt like her adult life was turning into an adventure that might be worth reading. Her mom is an avid reader of the blog, so she feels validated in its creation. When she’s not writing, she’s working, rock climbing, going to grad school, drinking craft beers, eating brunch, going to concerts and going on adventures around the city.
When I’m not blogging, you can find me…
At work. But outside of work, you can find me at the gym, walking around the Fan, drinking at a local brewery, traveling to the beach and maybe, on a rare occasion, cooking. I like to travel as much as I can, so you’ll also find me in a few locations outside of the Richmond area, as well.
If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be…
Buffalo Mash, which is a James Madison University dining service special: buffalo chicken tenders over a bed of mashed potatoes with a pico de gallo garnish. Granted, if that was the only meal I could eat for the rest of my life, I'd be 5,000 pounds. But a happy 5,000 pounds all the same.
One secret I’d like to tell you about Cazey is…
It’s hard to tell you a secret about Cazey because he’s often an oversharer on the blog (I mean, did you read about his anxious bladder?). However, I can tell you about one of the first times I met him. We went on a walk before dinner and I couldn’t stop thinking about how I was basically sprinting to keep up with him. And he complimented my zebra shoes, so I knew he was a keeper. Cazey is also weirdly obsessed with my hometown, Wallingford, Connecticut, which when googled is described as “A Great New England Town,” a fact I only know because he looked up the landmarks there, landmarks I also didn't know existed if it weren't for him.

Cazey
Cazey never set out to blog, but he loves to tell a good story and he has a lot of opinions that he feels compelled to share when he’s had too much iced coffee. When he's not blogging, choosing the best Instagram filter, or speed-walking the city, he is outdoors somewhere and possibly in another country. Having moved away from Richmond in 2019, Cazey currently works in the DC area where he scouts out brunch spots and craft cocktails. His other passions include sending productive emails, avoiding clichés, and finding aesthetics. Beware, he’ll do (almost) anything for a story.
When I’m not blogging, you can find me…
At the gym or trying to define my life outside of work. Since finishing grad school, I have struggled to define my non-work persona in a meaningful way. I enjoy travel, writing, and photography, so does that mean I’m basic? I also have a strong passion for fundraising and event planning; I enjoy brainstorming to support a cause or idea, so reach out! This year I am also trying to date less and read more.
If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be…
Cereal. I do not even hesitate on this: It is my favorite food. And not just one cereal; I love my cereals mixed like what we used to do in elementary school at the soda machine (“I want a suicide!” Did anyone else call it a suicide??). My favorite combinations are Special K Protein Plus and Grapenuts/granola topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Actually, put the CTC on the bottom, because I want that sugary cinnamon milk.
One secret I’d like to tell you about Sara is…
Sara is a middle child. I don’t think she acts it (cue Jan Brady huffing, “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!,”) but one Christmas my mom gave me a book on birth order. I ended up re-gifting it to Sara because she was far more into this book than I was, and I learned that she has a fascination with birth order dynamics due to her middle child status.
